Fox Theatre Conceptual Design Plan
Redwood City, CA THE FOX STORY:
The Fox Theatre is on the National Historic Register, and features ornate decorative design from the 1920s. For the resident Peninsula Center Stage and the City of Redwood City, CA, JVSA conducted extensive planning workshops on-site to create a concept plan for restoring the 1800-seat theatre in terms of upgraded theatre technology and historic design guidelines. John’s work also included detailed design concept studies, cost analysis, and recommendations dealing with complex ownership and management issues.

"Our study is characterized by examining a complex situation and breaking it down into clear and logical considerations, each of which focus upon key summations necessary for leadership to make fiscally responsible decisions sensitive to the artistic and technological needs of the performing arts. I do not hesitate to recommend JVSA as architects and consultants specializing in performing arts facilities."
